WIND! We spent this morning (Friday, March 6) in these two adjacent National Parks. The wind blew all night and today we dealt with gusts up to 35/40 mph
(50 to 60 kmph). The dry washes delivered mini dust storms. Yes, this limited our shooting ... but on the other hand the light was great and there were few others in the parks. These are big parks. I drove over 100 km in 3 hours and there were areas we just didn't have time to visit. We'll have to return in the future.
In the afternoon we drove about 550 additional K's, in the wind, at 120 Kph. Tiring, but done.
From here on in it's just driving home, about 2800 K's.
