This is our second visit to Quebec's Iles-de-la-Madeleine, the islands in the Gulf of the St Lawrence ... a 5 hour ferry ride from Prince Edward Island. We were here In 2006 along with Sue and Jim Curtis. This time we have 6 full days to photograph (weather permitting).
Sunny, all day and 16C. That's what were told we'd get today ... and that's what happened. This was the day for morning light (well, late morning light, you know) along the gray cliffs at Cape Alright and the on the Dune de Sud, the South Beach on Ile du Havre aux Maisons. We had a great time, lovely weather and interesting photography.
After lunch we shot the grasses on the sand bar between Ile du Havre Aubert and Ile du Cap aux Meules. The photography finished at the lighthouse near Etang du Nord.
