On Monday, June 21, we drove to from Vancouver to Kamloops via Whistler and Lillooet. Great drive. You should do it! It was an overcast day but we found things to photograph. Especially interesting were the lupine on a sideroad (yeah, we were lucky) south of Whistler. We hadn't seen lupine like this in 13 years ... and that was in Maine. We also found foxglove growing wild.
The rivers were full to overflowing! Cayoosh Creek paralled much of the drive and was a sea of white from rocks and rapids. Wow! Such a lot of fast-flowing water.
Driving from Cache Creek to Kamloops we had some dramatic sky ... so you see that too.
