The Aurora Community Arboretum is a public park, of about 110 acres, along the valley of the East Holland River. The 'not-for-profit' ACA is working with the Town of Aurora to build/grow an Arboretum. Yes, it will take many years ... and then Aurora will have a jewel of a park filled with specimen trees and shrubs and a glorious meadow filled with wildflowers for all to enjoy. I was a director and webmaster/photographer for the Arboretum for 12 years. That means I have many files of arboretum photographs. I expect these on this website may change from time-to-time.
In September of 2009 we made our second visit to les Iles-de-la-madeleine.
We had all kinds of weather. Wind, rain, sunshine, overcast ... you name it, we had it, and that was great. There were lots of photographic opportunities. What you see here is just a sampling of our 7 day feast. Don't worry about how you get here, just come ... and enjoy wonderful hospitality!
