" ... en route CA' seems lke an appropriate way to handle the varied shooting we are doing while we are in California, but between destinations.
It starts shortly after we left Yuma AZ in the Imperial Sand Dunes. Later that day we shot near the Salton Sea and in the vast irrigated farming region of the Imperial Valley (think: vegetables and feed lots) before getting to Joshua Tree NP.
We drove from Joshua Tree NP to Death Valley (500 km) using roads that (sometimes) didn't appear on our maps. The roads were OK and the scenery terrific. Mountains, salt pans, sand dunes, rock and cactus. A great drive ... via Kelso, Baker and Shoshone.
