This is our third visit to Perce in September, and we finally have sunshine! We'll also visit Forillon National Park and drive along the gaspe Coast looking for Fall Colour. Hope for the best!
We didn't think we'd get 'Good Colour'.
We were early, or the colour was late.
Today we drove from Perce to Matane and took the ferry (62 Km to cross the river) to Baie Comeau. Gaspe astonished us! The photo opportunities along the road from Gaspe for about 100 Km were (again) terrific.
We found some familiar spots from our 2006 trip plus new places to shoot. We had morning sunshine, turning to overcast and finally rain when we took the ferry about 4:30 pm. We had 24C at times and then down to 13C as a front passed through.
The final touch was a fine dinner at Le Manoir, a traditional 'Company Town Hotel' in Baie Comeau.

We also made the decision that it was time to go home. So tomorrow we'll drive about 400 Km through Charlevoix to Quebec City ... and then the 800 Km home on Friday.
