These are 'old' photographs, from our 2001 trip to Newfoundland. It was June's first visit, but I had travelled extensively, on business, in Newfoundland in the late 50's and early 80's. Now  I saw the province with different eyes and at a photographers pace. Much had changed but the people had not. All images were captured on film and scanned several years ago. The photographs on the left were taken in a three-day span on the Northern Peninsula, finishing on 9/11/2001 in Gros Morne. The images on the right are from the Twillingate area.
In September of 2009 we made our second visit to les Iles-de-la-madeleine.
We had all kinds of weather. Wind, rain, sunshine, overcast ... you name it, we had it, and that was great. There were lots of photographic opportunities. What you see here is just a sampling of our 7 day feast. Don't worry about how you get here, just come ... and enjoy wonderful hospitality!
